Mortal Coil is rather weak damage spell unless the card draw condition is met. Thus it is important to remember to use this spell to finish the enemy minions that are brought to low health rather than chipping away at minions that will not die from this spell. On the other hand, in late-game when the fatigue starts to be a threat this spell can be used also in a way that the card draw does not happen.
Sometimes sacrificing one`s own minion for the card draw is required. For example, Murloc Raider or Murloc Scout offer decently priced card draw when necessary. But first remember to attack with the minions that will be killedℂ₂₠!
