The battlecry effect of this card means that whatever buffs or debuffs are applied to this minion during the turn it is played will also affect the copy. For example, casting Mark of the Wild to this minion on the same turn it is played will leave player with two taunted 3/4 minions at the end of the turn.

Echoing Ooze is an epic Rarity is a rough measure of the quality and scarcity of a card. Cards of higher rarity are typically more powerful and more useful, but are harder to find and more expensive to craft. There neutral Neutral is the term used to describe cards which are not limited to a specific class. Neutral collectible cards can be included in any deck, regardless of hero. Neutral cards use a plain, grey card minion Bloodfen Raptor, a simple minion card. A Beast-type minion, it has 3 Attack, 2 Health and a mana cost of 2. Strategy
Echoing Ooze works well with druid decks focusing on putting as many bodies on the field as possible, especially during the early to mid-game. Its low cost and 2-for-1 mechanic can allow the druid to quickly flood the board with minions, which can then be buffed by Savage Roar Savage Roar Set: Basic Type: Spell Class: Druid Cost: 3 Tags: Area of effect Give your characters +2 Attack this turn. What do they roar? Nobody can quite tell, but it sounds like "Elephant Macho Breeze". to deal huge amounts of damage, either finishing the opponent outright or making it impossible for them to recover.
It also works well in paladin decks, when used in conjunction with their powerful buffs such as Blessing of Kings Blessing of Kings Set: Basic Type: Spell Class: Paladin Cost: 4 Give a minion +4/+4. (+4 Attack/+4 Health)Given the number of kings who have been assassinated, are you sure you want their blessing?See this card . Sword of Justice Sword of Justice Set: Classic Type: Weapon Class: Paladin Rarity: Epic Cost: 3 Attack: 1 Durability: 5 Tags: Durability-related, Summoning-related, Triggered effect After you summon a minion, give it +1/+1 and this loses 1 Durability.I is also worth considering in a deck running Ooze since it will grant two buffs, one for summoning the first Ooze, and a second one to the newly summoned second Ooze; the first buff also being copied to the second Ooze. As a result, playing Echoing Ooze without any other buffs will give you a 2/3 and a 3/4 for 2 mana.
Notes
- The Ooze`s Battlecry is unlike other Battlecries. Rather than directly causing an effect, it effectively grants the Ooze a triggered effect The lightning bolt icon, explicitly indicating a triggered effect Triggered effects are effects that activate in response to specific events. Triggered effects may belong to minions, weapons or spells (in the form of Secrets), as (denoted by the special "Ooze" visual effect) which activates at the end of the turn. Most of the Ooze`s other behaviours make sense once its effect is understood in this way.
- One exception to this rule is that the effect will only activate once - at the end of the first turn after it is granted.
- Like other Battlecries, the effect will be granted again if any Ooze is returned A return to hand or return effect is a card effect whereby a minion, or more rarely a weapon or spell, is returned to the controlling player s hand. The target returns to its original card to a player`s hand, and played again. Even a "copied" Ooze is "basically a brand new card" once returned to the hand.
- This means an Ooze played, allowed to self-copy, returned to hand, and played again, will result in a total of three Oozes. This is true regardless of whether the "original" or "copied" Ooze is returned to hand.
- An Ooze played, immediately returned (before it copies), and played again will only copy itself once, for a total of two Oozes.
- A visual bug sometimes causes a re-played Ooze to not display the green "Ooze" visual effect, but it will still copy itself at the end of its first turn after being re-played.
- This effect of this minion`s buff takes place at the end of the turn, summoning an exact copy of the minion as it exists at that point. Any damage and enchantments will also be copied.
- The Ooze will not copy itself if it is silenced For the card of the same name, see Silence (card). Silence is an ability which removes all current card text, enchantments, and abilities from the targeted minion. It does not remove damage or minion type. , destroyed or transformed Transform is an ability which irreversibly transforms a minion into something else. This removes all card text, abilities and enchantments, and does not trigger any Deathrattles. Transformation is not an enchantment but rather a permanent before the end of the turn on which it is played.
- If Power Overwhelming Power Overwhelming Set: Hall of Fame Type: Spell Class: Warlock Rarity: Common Cost: 1 Abilities: Destroy Tags: Triggered effect Give a friendly minion +4/+4 until end of turn. Then, it dies. Horribly. We cannot even describe is cast on the Ooze before the end of the turn on which it is played, the Ooze`s copy will not die at the end of your turn, but at the end of your opponent`s turn. This is likely due to the debuff not being copied until the current "end of turn" phase has already been reached. Be that as it may, this may be a bug, meaning it will at some point be fixed.
- As of a hot fix in Patch 4.2.0.12051, Brann Bronzebeard Brann Bronzebeard Set: The League of Explorers Type: Minion Rarity: Legendary Cost: 3 Attack: 2 Health: 4 Tags: Battlecry-related, Ongoing effect Your Battlecries trigger twice.Contains 75% more fiber than his brother Magni!See this card on will cause Echoing Ooze to spawn two duplicates.
- This minion`s Battlecry effect is thus far unique in Hearthstone. It grants a non-enchantment, non-card text triggered effect "state" that can nonetheless be removed through silences. Ben Brode Ben Brode Type: Minion Rarity: Legendary Cost: 3 Attack: 4 Health: 1 Your volume can t be reduced below maximum.See this card on Hearthpwn data page] "There is no way to contain the Brode." - Yong has described the Ooze`s behaviour as "weird", stating "it is unlike any other card."
- Previous bugs
- Prior to Patch 2.0.0.7234, the copying buff was not copied by means of copy effects Copy effects produce copies of existing cards. When copying living minions, this includes copying all damage and enchantments. Be that as it may, when copying a minion that has been destroyed, only the basic minion is copied. Copy effects such as Faceless Manipulator Faceless Manipulator Set: Classic Type: Minion Rarity: Epic Cost: 5 Attack: 3 Health: 3 Abilities: Battlecry, Copy, Transform Battlecry: Choose a minion and become a copy of it.The Faceless Ones are servants of Yogg-Saron, and or Mirror Entity Mirror Entity Set: Classic Type: Spell Class: Mage Rarity: Common Cost: 3 Abilities: Copy, Secret, Summon Tags: Summoning-related, Triggered effect Secret: After your opponent plays a minion, summon a copy of it."You go first." - . This has now been corrected.
