Strategy

Defias Ringleader is a strong turn one card for a Rogue to play in conjunction with The Coin, as that triggers the combo and gives you a 2/2 and a 2/1 on the first turn. Removing both is difficult for most classes early on in the game, only 3 spells in the game can keep up with the combo effect of this card, those being Forked Lightning, Arcane Missiles (with some luck), and Explosive Trap assuming they attack your hero.

Additionally, the Defias Ringleader can be played on turn 2 if used after a Backstab. This would clear the board of the enemy minion (unless it had more than 2 health) and would give board control to the Defias player.
