The following cards are seen only in boss Bosses are unique computer-controlled heroes encountered in adventures, the tutorial, and some Tavern Brawls. Each boss presents a unique encounter, featuring their own Hero Power and decks. Bosses use a combination of regular cards and hearthstone encounters, within adventures Choosing an adventure Game formats Each Standard year, any adventures released prior to the previous calendar year are marked as Wild format. Blizzard Entertainment was originally founded on 8 February 1991, as Silicon & Synapse, by three UCLA graduates: Michael Morhaime, Allen Adham, and Frank Pearce. Blizzard has since gone on to create several successful PC game franchises, including the Warcraft, StarCraft, and Diablo series. Blizzard also took significant steps in MMORPG development, with the development and maintenance of the game World of Warcraft. Blizzard games in the StarCraft and Warcraft franchises, in particular Starcraft, Starcraft 2, and Warcraft III, have developed into flagship games in the world of professional gaming.They have also since developed Hearthstone a Collectible Card Game.
