Strategy

Orb of Venom is a cheap item pickup for Melee heroes that have free item slots to help them chase enemies and harass in lane. Most notably, Lone Druid`s Spirit Bear benefits from having an Orb of Venom greatly because of the amount of long distance attacking the Spirit Bear is able to do.

Slark is a great Orb of Venom carrier due to the slow and the build in to an Eye of Skadi, which is an excellent item for Slark.

Omniknight will often use Orb of Venom as it stacks with his Degen Aura and is very cheap.
