Juggernaut Guide

Items

Starting items:

  • Tango provide healing to keep Juggernaut alive in the lane.
  • Healing Salve can save Juggernaut if used at the last moment.
  • Clarity allows Juggernaut to regain mana from early usage of Blade Fury.
  • Iron Branch increases Juggernaut`s survivability and mana pool. Because of Juggernaut`s low mana pool, an early Iron Branch gives the possibility of casting both Blade Fury and Omnislash back to back. It can later be upgraded into a Magic Wand.
  • Slippers of Agility gives Juggernaut additional damage, allowing him to get easier last hits and denies in lane. They can later be upgraded to a Poor Man`s Shield.

Juggernaut   Hero   Strategy   Counters   Equipment   Gear   Responses   Sounds   Lore   Old Abilities   Changelogs     Juggernaut 20 + 2.2 26 + 2.4 14 + 1.4 Level Base dota2 is a formidable swordsman capable of engaging and cutting down single enemies without much risk to himself. A medium carry, Juggernaut can support his teammates with Healing Ward, and escape dangerous situations with Blade Fury. In a one-on-one fight, Juggernaut`s Omnislash is the most powerful single target ability in the game, usually killing his opponent if no other enemies are around to absorb the damage.
Pros Cons
  • High single target damage.
  • Strong mid game presence.
  • Can play aggressively in lane.
  • Farms quickly.
  • Weak against multiple targets.
  • Falls off against hard carries in the late game.
  • Somewhat fragile.

Talents

Notes:
  • Upgrading health increases maximum health capacity and keeps the current health percentage.
  • The armor and attack damage are added as bonus armor and bonus attack damage, and therefore do not benefit illusions.

General

Blade Fury

While Blade Fury does no damage to towers, Juggernaut can still autoattack while using it. The small white flashes in the middle of the tower indicate his attacks landing.

Healing Ward

Blade Dance

  • Blade Dance benefits most from items that increase raw damage.
  • The critical damage from Blade Dance is insignificant until Juggernaut has a few items, meaning it can be leveled after other abilities.

Omnislash

An injured Juggernaut lures an overzealous Sven away from lane creeps, using Blade Fury to avoid being disabled. Once the enemy is alone, Juggernaut turns the tables with Omnislash.
