Overview
The atoD Showdown are tournaments played out in the reverse captains mode, where the captain for each team picks heroes for the other team. For the third version of the series, the prize pool has been donated by "Gandalf" ($1000) and Peter "HamSandwich" Congdon ($500), and the $1,500 will all be taken by the winner of the tournament.
Format
The twelve teams are divided into two groups, one for NA and one for EU. The top two teams in each group will advance to a single elimination bracket. All group stage matches are best of one, and the playoffs are best of three.
